Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Jonathan began playing cello at age 9 and guitar at 12. A passion for classic rock, blues, and jazz lead him to study at Musicians Institute, in Los Angeles, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Contemporary Guitar Performance, with a focus on Media Composition. He also plays ukelele, mandolin, piano, and drums. He divides his time teaching private lessons, playing gigs, songwriting, and composing instrumental works.
